Berkeley is pretty lacking in Middle Eastern food overall, but I think this is a pretty solid restaurant for kabobs/falafel/everything in between.
The interior is pretty standard for Berkeley, and there's nothing wrong with it in terms of cleanliness. It does have a cozy feel to it, which I appreciate whenever I decide to eat there. They also usually have pretty good Arab music playing!
The food is really good for the price. I always get the rice bowl with chicken, which comes with a bed of rice, chicken, and a salad on top. Paying only $7.99 for a pretty balanced meal is pretty hard to come by in Berkeley. The chicken is always really flavorful and not dry at all. Make sure to ask for some of their hot sauce on the side !! I recently discovered it and fell in love with it.
This place also has some of the best dolma in Berkeley. It's like a dollar more expensive than other places ($4.99 for 6 pieces, IIRC), but I think the taste is worth it. They also give a yogurt-based dip to cut through the acidity, which I haven't noticed from other places. They make such a tasty + healthy snack and they're definitely one of my favorite parts of this restaurant!
I've never had any issues with service. I'm under the impression that this is also a family-owned business, so I always feel good coming by here + giving them my business.
They're also on Snackpass + have a discount for your first order, so def give them a try!

Honestly I was pretty disappointed with this place. The cashier was not friendly at all and very unhelpful. Our falafel was okay but the hummus was bad and they hardly put any veggies in the pita sandwich. Aside from the convince due to the fact that it was quick and we were in Berkeley I would not recommend/ return. There was 2 hour meter parking outside the restaurant which was nice.

Came in got the chicken kebab salad. Service was very fast considering that it was during their rush hour. Chicken was tender and salad was super fresh. Highly recommend for anyone looking for fast Mediterranean food.

A solid place with fast service l. Nothing was super impressive but price is reasonable. I got the chicken kebab salad and the chicken was nicely flavored and tender. The salad also comes with a good amount of avocado and a side of the pita bread.

Had a great falafel wrap here -- they fried the falafels right in front of me. Fresh, great tasting, reasonably priced, and quick.
The only thing I would like to see is a whole wheat wrap option.
